recently awarded a $500.00 scholarship from Maine Amateur Softball Association.
This scholarship is available for high school and college athletes who have also
played on an ASA team. Maria graduated from Lewiston High School playing 4 years
on varsity and currently plays for St. Joseph's College of Maine. Pictured are

Softball Umpires Association has awarded the Dave Cairnie Sportsmanship Award To
Messalonskee High School.
The Award was presented to coach Leo Bouchard at an awards assembly at the
school. The award is presented by the GWSUA to the
school that exhibits the best sportsmanship for the year based on ratings of the
GWSUA membership. Previous winners of the award
include Belfast(07) and Forest Hills(08), Congratulations to Messalonskee High
School.
